We are a 45 year old not for profit food bank ([login to view URL]) serving the 5 county Philadelphia market.
Today we have approximately 35,00 names in our donor file of which there are about 5000 email addresses.
We mail quarterly both print and email as a primary fund raising tool.
Up until I joined the company the ”newsletter “ was “written in-house and was somewhat “old-school” at best.
The good but sad news is that this pandemic is a great time for fundraising and we are having a very good year but the bad news is that it should be much/much better. In addition, I am tired of it being a “hurry up and get-it -done” project as opposed to a well thought out / scheduled activity.
