I am a college student. I want my essay proof read and corrected where necessary. I need it in MLA format. I need help with work cited and sources. You will just be editing my essay and fixing the sources and work cited parts. Below is the original assignment. Assignment:Your second paper will focus on some theme of your choosing related to the issues of gender and sexuality. You will summarize and discuss at least one Bedford essay from this unit. You will also cite two other sources, one of which must be scholarly. (To identify a scholarly source, you can use the library databases, looking for the click box on the left that narrows your search to scholarly sources. These sources are generally published by academic presses--University of Washington Press, for example. You could also use a scholarly book written by a university professor and published by an academic press.) Begin the paper either with a narrative from your own life or by discussing one of your sources. Use this beginning to establish your theme. You do not need to have a "thesis sentence" in the traditional sense, because you do not have to assert a specific claim or opinion. You could look at one idea from a variety of perspectives in an interesting way. It is OK in this paper to "equivocate" or show "ambivalence," to show that you can "see both sides." In this case, it is your objective to discuss and explore the complicated nature of your theme in a compelling way. It is also acceptable, however, to write a more traditional thesis-driven essay. In any case, it should be clear by the end of your second paragraph what your paper is "about." Not including your Works Cited page, your paper must be three to five full double-spaced pages in MLA style, Times New Roman 12 font.
