SONNENGLAS® team is looking for a proactive PR/social media consultant to boost our brand recognition in Singapore, where we only recently launched our product.

About Our Company SONNENGLAS® is a startup based in Japan, Germany, and South Africa which creates innovative consumer products that are beautifully designed, useful and run 100% on solar energy. Our product, Sonnenglas, is manufactured according to FAIR TRADE standards in South Africa, employing over 70 workers from the townships of Soweto and Alexandra, Johannesburg. It has been sold over 3 million times worldwide in 11 countries, while contributing solutions to social and environmental problems. Job Description Role: - Identify our customer segments and the media targeting those segments in Singapore. - Choose the best angles and write the content of the brand for making an effective appeal to the media. - Formulate, implement, and validate ideas for the brand to be covered by the media in order to increase exposure of the brand to a variety of media in Singapore. - Reach out and create connections with media and social media influencers through phone calls, direct messages, emails, etc. - Update team members on a daily basis using project management tools such as Trello Share a progress of projects at a team meeting once a week - Take other simple clerical duties: shipping samples to influencers and media and replacement of defective products to customers, etc. Skills & experiences: - Minimum of 1.5 years of work experience. - PR/Marketing experience or similar. - Experience formulating and executing PR/(digital) marketing strategy across online channels - Start-up mindset. We are looking for an individual who enjoys an ambiguous situation in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with a small team. - Strong problem solving skills.
