Hi there Excel and Word Power Users!
I would like to have someone write me a macro that I can use in Excel. See the two files attached.
Users will fill out the Excel Template. They will enter in the Value and Headers Columns. They can enter up to 26 row in a single File Number. There can be up to 10 File Numbers.
On a button push from Excel, the data in the Green and Yellow cells will be copies to the Word document. The File Number (Red Highlight with White Letter) and the Value and Header Number (Dark Green with White Letter) will be updated for each entry.
Note, the Syntax in the Word document is very important. For example, it must be:
File_#_Headers(#) = "..."
File_#_Values(#) = $...
If it is:
Then it won't work. The syntax needs to be exactly what is in the word document.
I would prefer if the cell was empty in Excel, that I wouldn't have that entry in Word. However, if that is too hard, I can always just delete the unused cells.
