Final preparation efforts are needed to prepare 3 Microsoft Word documents and one Excel spreadsheet for online publication. When the deliverables are returned to me and checked, they then need to to be converted to 4 pdf files which will display working hyperlinks.
The documents are 350, 40 and 30 pages long respectively.
Work on the largest document includes:
. Layout of the text in 'Further Reading' and 'Sources' where present at the end of each chapter, must all look consistent throughout
. Quotes must be displayed consistently throughout
. Several terms must be standardised throughout - a list of these will be provided
. Inserting any additional information that I may supply
. US spell-check
. Building a 2 column index that will include a word/phrase list that I'll supply
Work on the 40 page document (which is in tabular format) includes:
. Consistent font and formatting throughout
. Contact details (address, phone, fax, website, email) must be displayed consistently throughout. Other information must also be presented consistently.
. Ensuring an attractive presentation of the information.
Work on the 30 page document includes:
. Very little apart from confirming that the 'look and feel' is congruent with the other 2 documents - all documents must have a similar 'look and feel', and consistent headers and footers, as they are being provided as a set.
Work on the 1500 row spreadsheet only includes affixing a title page and 2 other pages to the front, after it has been converted to pdf format.
A person whose native language is English would be best suited to this project. Someone who has initiative and resourcefulness to make suggestions as well. Proof-reading skills are desirable too.
Estimated time for the work is around 15 hours by a skilled person. From the time the work is handed over on around November 9, it must be completed within 3 days.
