For integration in a larger VR project, we are looking for a talented game dev that can simulate the effect of jaws-of-life (industrial cutters) on a steel bar in unity.
So the sound, deformation (eventual paint chipping) when the jaws hit the bar and apply pressure to it in game.
What you'll deliver:
A plug'n play asset package which we can integrate easily in our existing world, with endpoints that allow for easy control. (jaws open/close)
What we are building:
An interactive training in which users actually wield a jaws-of-life, powered by a vive tracker and integrated arduino circuitry. We convert the throttle of the device to highs and lows which are sent to the tracker and interpreted by unity as buttons.
One for open, one for close.
