We have a software that contains proprietary information and we would like to protect it against piracy.
So, we need to block any screenshot or screen capturing/recording functionality for windows systems (windows 10, 8, 8.1, 7).
We have managed to get working for windows 10 using SetWindowDisplayAffinity library, but problem remains mainly in windows 7 systems where this library may not work properly. So we need a better method that works in all systems.
Our software is a C# WPF application running .NET 4.5.2.
We know that it is not possible to block user of capturing using a camera for example, but implementing screenshot protection will improve our software security.
Requirements are:
1. Block all printscreen and snipping shortcuts from keyboard. (Eg: PrtScn key, windows + shift + s).
2. Block any printing or snipping tool from windows or any third tool (lightshot, PrtScr, Screenshot Captor, WinSnap, etc).
3. Block any screen recorder software (Camtasia, BandiCAM, VLC player, etc).
4. Block recording using game mode.
5. Block printing when user uses a remote access (TeamViewer, Anydesk, etc).
This is a serious development, only bid if you really are capable of achieving this.
