51717 Develop C++ Source Code

This should be a simple project for a programmer who knows what he's doing. The need is for a programmer over the long term as I intend to further develop the software to include additional functionalities. Unless you can give this commitment please don't bid on this project. Project is to enhance the source code of a combined shopping cart and affiliate program software. The source code is written in C++. The source code is 100% tried and tested and has been working for many years on a popular web site without bugs or errors. It's been ERROR FREE. As a skilled programmer you'll be required to enhance the affiliate functionality to include incentives and to allow affiliates to see the results of their different advertising campaigns. Traditional affiliate program software is either one or two tier and does not award and incentivise affiliates. The software will include incentives (similar to how sales people are ‘incentivise' to reach set targets and being rewarded for their efforts). Also affiliates should be able to see the results (traffic and commission) generated from their different advertising campaigns instead of all campaigns being lumped into one. Additional functionality to be added include the following: Whenever an affiliate link is generated his affiliate code should include a code. This code should appear on order page of the product being sold so prospective customers can quote the code / reference number when placing their order bt telephone or fax. A typical order page will include four methods for ordering: by credit card, by Paypal, by telephone and by fax. Ordering by telephone: The affiliate code should appear next to the telephone number in a field called (Ref Number). Potential customers placing orders by telephone will be asked to quote the reference number. Ordering by FAX: The affiliate number will appear in “Reference Number field” so that when fax is sent / received the affiliate reference number be included. These enhancements will greatly improve the software and incentivise affiliates To increase sales knowing that all their efforts will tracked and rewarded in a fair way.
