Easy project doing Assistive Technology for Autistic Kids

I would like for this to be done in Flash, or some other non-platform specific language. I want to be able to be able to control the playback of both audio and video -- at least 10 different clips, preferably up to 28 -- through simple one-character aschii commands. For the audio tracks, I want to have multiple audio-clips which I can record and re-record. I want for each one to be assigned to a single key. I want to be able to press that key in one of three different manners, and have the audio-clip play. The three different manners of pressing the key are: 1) Click-On, where pressing the key makes the clip play. 2) Click-Off, where the clip plays until the key is pressed. 3) Dead-Man, where the clip plays as long as the key is pressed, and stops playing when the key is released. For the video clips, I want to be able to have multiple video clips assigned which I can record and re-record. I want for each one to be assigned to a single key, which acts in the 'Click-On' manner described above. I want to have two additional keys, also acting in the 'Click-On' manner, which will either cause the video to be stopped and rewound, respectively. I imagine this would be done with a database with 36 fields, one for each letter and number on the keyboard. Pressing the corresponding key will always play the video/audio clip in a particular field. I don't think this will be a difficult project for somebody who knows what they're doing . . . and will be very thankful for the lowest bid possible. I've attached a crude version of my idea that a friend of mine donated. It only has four selections, all of them audio, and I cannot change the audio clips. It's done in Flash. Thank you very much for your assistance. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform I would prefer it to run in flash, or java, or some non-platform specific language. However, if that cannot be done, my next choice would be for generic windows (3.x, 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, etc . . .). If that is not possible, I'll settle for as many versions as possible, so long as they include XP.
