We have a legacy classic ASP/IIS/vbscript web application that we want to implement browser based geolocation API with a button "Click here to find local office" that will send the longitude and latitude to an ASP page that will then send back via AJAX an office address and phone number to be displayed. This can all be implemented as a sample application with a ASP test application that will have the HTML and Javascript code with the button and a server-side AJAX ASP page that will accept the longitude and latitude and then send back a hard coded sample address of "408-555-1212, 1234 Main Street, San Jose, CA 95131" that will be replace/display over the request button. The client Javascript code should check if Geolocation API is available on the client browser and to also display an appropriate "Not Available" response if the button is clicked without capabilities or if the user denies permissions to get the location. The solution should consist of those two ASP files that we can load on our web site for testing and proof of concept. We will perform the integration of the sample code into our production applications.
