Environment Monitoring for 2 separate locations.
To include information for Temperate/Humidity/Co2/Light Hours
Want this info to be logged and stored, view able through the internet. Would also like to set alarms or have a notification be sent if the environment reaches certain levels like high temperate etc. Want to be able to adjust these notifications from time to time.
Would also want to control various electrical devices in the environment as well. Such as fans. Lights, video camera to view the environment.
Fail safe water sensors. To automatically shut off any water pumps if leakage is detected on the ground.
Reservoir Control
The system will mimic The GrowFlo System - can be viewed online, which is a hydroponic system control in which when water is called for, it is pumped into a control bucket where it is drain into the plants until it switches to the drain pump in which it is pumped back into the reservoir. Some hydroponic system knowledge is needed.
I want the reservoir to be able to function with minimal interaction on my part through the entire plant cycle.
- This would include draining itself completely. Would be done mostly by a pump - possible also from a release valve at the bottom of the reservoir to drain the remaining water that the pump can not reach.
- Refilling itself with fresh water - then adding the correct nutrients based on the plants life cycle. This would need to be able to changed or updated as needed. There would be approximately 6 nutrient pumps that would add nutrients as needed.
Ph control would use one of these pumps in order to constantly monitor and control the ph level of the reservoir
Monitoring the reservoir is needed as well, to include electric conductivity, parts per mill, sensors.
Other sensors for the reservoir would be temperature, dissolve parts oxygen.
Again, I would like this reservoir data to be logged and view through the internet.
Refilling/topping off the reservoir.
The reservoir will need to changed every 2 weeks. In between those automatic changed, the reservoir will need to be topped off with fresh water to compensate for water loss/evaporation.
Would also want to track the flow of the water through the entire system (flow sensor). From refill, drain (pump), drain (valve), feed pump plus return.
