Hello, I have a arduino nano project. I want to set up a timer for hot wheels track. The timer will start when button to release gate is pushed from the remote. When the first car goes through the finish line A green led will turn on. Each timer will end when the car goes through the laser on the finish line. The time will display above each lane. The timer will reset/turn off led when the button the button to reset gate is pushed on the remote. Also included is a picture of the remote and switches I am using. These are (normal open) switches. They are connected to 9v batteries to power my start gate. I will link to that video. Attached picture show only 2 tracks and the video on Facebook shows three tracks. Therefore I would like to know how many tracks before starting. It will be good for designing. Hi and good morning, I've studied it a little bit and what I suggest is to have one Arduino for each track, so if you decide to extend to, IE 10 lanes, you have everything ready. Also I suggest to switch from laser to a different type of sensor that's very cheap & small and, being infrared, is not (or little) affected by external light, with multiple lasers if you catch a reflection then the timer will be affected. One question: I don't understand the Hbridge use, is intended for to drive what ? I already have both the Arduino, the display and the sensor devices: if you like I can proof it with a photo in chat. Please beware: the estimation of the days is really an estimate: It could be that I have to test different sensor and the arduinos network. Cheers, Alex.
