Develop an Android application that answers certain incoming calls by means of text-to-speech and recognizes/transcribes/interacts with the caller speech in Brazilian Portuguese

PROJECT DETAILS An Android application that takes control of the call flow of incoming calls if a given set of conditions are met. When said criteria are met the application must take control of the call flow over the OS to answer the call and speak on behalf of the callee messages previously inputted and text. All exchange are expected to be specifically in Brazilian Portuguese. Then the app recognizes the caller speech, which may be human or also another voice software, again in native Brazilian Portuguese. Then the application interacts with caller by means of voice synthesis. The recognition of natural language in native Brazilian Portuguese is a must and is the core of this project. IMPLEMENTATION The source code must be well written, concisely commented, clear and unobfuscated. The source code must be written in english. The application must meet Google Play Store publish standards and policies. During development, all the text presented in the application UI may be in English or Spanish or Portuguese as best fits the developer. But the developer must build the application in a way that we can make our own translations (like and XML file for each language with the text content). Detailed information on how to build the application from source code must be provided (i.e: which IDE was used, which build parameters must be set, where to obtain and how to embed third-party libraries if needed and also their versions, in which order some tasks must be performed, etc). Preferably the application should rely as much as possible on native and official libraries/tools/etc. Performance and usability is a must. Before any actual work on the developer side we must have hold a meeting by means of videoconferencing to get to know ourselves, build some sinergy, establish mutual understandings and assess The developer must be able to create a sheet describing the project activities as he sees it, the estimated time for each task and a field that shows progress in percentage. We will control the project progress with this document created by the developer. That would be the first task. After said voice interactions between the application and the caller some paths may be taken that may lead to the user taking control of the call and he himself speak with the caller or the call being terminated for any reason. During the call, by means of native OS notifications, if the application got hold of the call flow, all exchange must be shown in real-time on the device screen, either locked or not. In some flows a dialog may be presented to the user and an input is expected. After call termination a transcription of the call exchange between the app and the caller may be sent to the user's e-mail. NOTES All source code must be versioned and fully available to us from the start in a versioning platform of the developer choice, minding if it’s free. Administrative rights must be provided to us. We have full intellectual property (IP) over source code from start. The source code may not be distributed, shared or revealed to others, even in early development stages. All third-party libraries must be used in compliance with their respectives licenses. And should must be contacted before using any of those. Frequent updates on development must be provided. We shall discuss and agree on how frequent. The developer is free and encouraged to give us suggestions that would best fit our app needs and objectives. We are expecting that and willing to reward.
