I have already worked with the type of application where data is being sent and received in the background from the server. Here is how we can do this, First I will write a code to detect if the phone goes into a moving vehicle state. and whenever this happens, the background service will start sending geolocation and mobile number to the server. Instead of the phone number, may I suggest using the device ID? I can write the app to attempt to get the phone number, but it is not guaranteed and may even be incorrect.
