Online Comparison Engine We are a publishing company based in Stone, Staffordshire. We provide an online comparison tool for our customers to compare their products side by side with their competitors products. Our worldwide audience completed over 3 million comparisons last year with site traffic measured in the 10s of millions. Our data is held within a SQL Server database and is made available to our customer through both a browser interface and a mobile platform. The customer can only view certain elements of the data based on their subscription. The user interface is provided in the customers own language. We are currently looking for a resource to assist in the complete re-development of our system. This will involve; Tech Skills: SQL Server: Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, Indexing C# .Net development (Visual Studio) .aspx, .ashx, .cs GUI development using JQuery / Ajax, HTML, css System Requirements: Fast & Secure Simple GUI Cross browser compatibility Multilingual Excel data exports Project Detail: Customer Facing Requirements: Login system Autologin when secure token passed from customer server Drill down page / Search engine Side by side comparison page Export facility Analytics / Metrics Reports Feedback system For Internal Company Use: Login Customer subscription builder Customer activity reports Data Entry Page Add / Edit / Delete product records Add / Edit / Delete data entry page templates Translation administration Upload PDFs / Images / Videos Data extraction tool - export to excel and xml Later Requirements: Automated data imports from XML feeds Mobile Version iPhone app Android app Automated Monthly Email application Target phase one go-live date 1st January 2012 for essential functionality. Further functionality can be delivered in Q1 2012. You will be required to bring your own creativity and ideas to the table. The above brief is deliberately vague to allow room for change and improvement. However, a robust, fast, simple and secure solution must be delivered before the end of 2011.
