Hi, This bid request is to do some general preparatory research into Amazon Web Services which will be used to determine the feasibility of several program development ideas currently under consideration. Please see the attached Word file for complete project details. The questions have been summarized below: I. I currently have a scraping application which browses a seller's Amazon store in order to create a list of all of the seller's inventory. An example Amazon store URL is: [login to view URL] The program I have browses the pages and returns a table with one record for each listing. Each record is for each book/listing from the seller's store, and contains the basic data fields for each book offered. I would like to know if it is possible to get the same information (a list of all of a seller's inventory) through AWS rather than scraping. II. My second inquiry is regarding the international Amazon websites. I currently have a program that makes requests to the US locale. I would like to modify the program to make these same requests on the Canada & UK sites, but need answers to the following inquires: 1) Can the same Amazon Developer ID be used to make requests to these international sites that is used for the US site? 2) Is there a centralized database/service-network that services each of the different locales/websites? 3) Relating to the previous inquiry, Amazon has a "speed limit" of 1 request per second per IP address. Is this limit applied per locale, or are requests to all of the locales considered in combination when measuring the request rate? The deliverables of this bid request will simply be written answers to the questions posed, as this is not a software development project. Someone with previous AWS development experience will be highly preferred. The deadline for this project is 7 days. Thanks.
