we currently have a system to download and process orders from our online store using Access 2000 and an Excel 2000 form.
We want to upgrade this system to access 2010
During the upgrade we need things improved to handle more options more products and more customizations. We will need an easy way to add new product and product options as the store expands in the future.
With each order there is a report generated as well as multiple pick labels. Currently the letter and labels are moved to word 2000 these could be done as an access report. The labels are printed on a dymo printer so we would need them formatted to 2.3 inch x 4 inch ( 1/4 inch margins)
The letter is a standard 8 1/2 x 11 letter with our logo / address/ date / customer address etc.
We also need this system to handle phone orders with a much easier Access interface for picking product as the customer dictates the order to the operator. It needs to be an attractive quick interface for quick phone call turn around.
We can provide sample orders and the sample access 2000 db as well as sample word doc + labels as they are currently.
All code must be in Visual Basic for applications.
