I need somebody to help me configure VPN using PPTP on a Windows Server 2012 R2 box and to show me how to correctly configure clients to connect to it. I presently have the basic configuration done, i.e. I can connect to the VPN and I get an IP address on the VPN, but I cannot PING any computers on the VPN network - this is the issue that must be resolved. I will be able to allow Teamviewer access to a client, running Windows 10, and will have RDP access to the server during the resolution of this project. I will be "watching and learning" as we work together on this.

I've been in IT for about 15 years and have set up PPTP VPNs on 2000, 2003/R2, 2008 and 2008R2 servers. I haven't fiddled with 2012 yet, but it should be pretty much the same under the hood. I can get this thing running for you. During testing, the client may disconnect remote control. If it becomes a pain, I'll connect from a W7 VM in my computer.
