Certificate issue on IIS 8 (Windows Server 2012R2)

Hi,

I have a certificate installation problem that I need help with. I've installed a wildcard certificate on Windows Server 2012R2 (via IIS 8.5). The wildcard certificate is working if I access the external website. (i.e. [url removed, login to view]) but my internal self signed certificate is not working (i.e. [url removed, login to view]). When I try to goto [url removed, login to view] I get a mismatched certificate meaning it tries to use the wildcard certificate instead of the self signed certificate.

Here's my IIS Site Binding info:

Type IP Address Port Hostname SSL certificate

https All Unassigned 443 *.[url removed, login to view]

https 127.0.0.1 443 *.[url removed, login to view]

I tried adding the following but it didn't work:

https All Unassigned 443 [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] self signed certificate

https: 127.0.0.1 443 [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] self signed certificate
