We are looking for a Wordpress developer to complete a website that is 60-70% finished. Developer must have flexible working hours, a strong background in Wordpress development and be very detail oriented. Familiarity with Linux shell and FTP is a bonus, as our host does not have any CPanel access in case there is any need to access the server. Other desired skills are SEO optimization, Wordpress speed optimization, and familiarity with Varnish HTTP cache. We need freelancers who can complete these high priority tasks in the next 48-72 hours. There are a number of additional tasks and potential ongoing contract for maintenance depending on performance. Initial project requirements include: 1. Resolve Website Errors - Resolve errors with current Wordpress theme on the live site – ensure live site resembles test site. 2. Syndicated content – Ensure syndicated content updating effectively – BusinessWire, Pr Newswire 3. Ad Units – Fix ad unit placements errors throughout the site 4. Responsive – check the entire site to ensure it is responsive and free from errors on mobile and tablet. 5. Speed – Check website speed is optimised. 6. Plugin Updates – Ensure all site plugins are up to date 7. Google Ads – Set up of Google advertising in specified Google Advertising placements In your response please provide a quote, how quickly you can complete this task, as well as detail of your experience. This site is a significant size - and we are looking for very experienced wordpress developers. Further information will be provided to shortlisted candidates.
