Create an online marketplace a bit like ebay.

Simple marketplace software, where registered users can upload adverts for their products and rent them out, or conversely search for an advert and rent someone else's goods. I want it to be designed very similar to ebay, but with a simpler layout and without any of the auction features. The website will not offer any 'buy' facility, it aims only to connect users to other users and the users and allow them to communicate. This means there needs to be no inbuilt finance system whatsoever which makes is much easier. In the future, if the idea takes off, credit card and other forms of escrow payment could be a possibility, so just design with that in mind. The search function: A search bar will look through all of the adverts titles and choose the ones that most accurately reflect the words being searched. The search function can also search for the category an item is in, and its location. The search function will return numerous advertisements on the webpage, if there is overflow you will be able to go to the next page and continue browsing. Adverts can be created by any user, they have a few pieces of data associated with them: A title (text, which is what the search function uses to search), a photo, the user that placed the advertisement, the price per day (or week, month, year, the period is chosen from dropdown box), a description of the item (a text box), the item location (a text box), a rental terms box (a text box), availability (a text box), contact details (a text box), and finally a message button to message the user about the product through the website. A normal user may only advertise 3 things at a time by default, however this can be upgraded by an administrator. A user's profile can be clicked on to give the details of the user, like the current adverts they have up, their contact details and a way to message them. For a user to sign up they need to enter a Username*, password*, valid email* (not displayed publicly), name, contact details (for public display), a photo, and maybe a few other fields which are important. Mandatory fields are marked with a *. There will be a rating system (similar to the one on ebay), if someone has a successful trade they are able to give the person that rented the item to them a positive feedback and the person that rented the item is able to rate the person that rented it, along with a rating the person can leave a quick text detail of the trade which is viewable. This is to avoid people being scammed. Certain accounts can be an Administrator account, these accounts have different abilities to user accounts, they have all the functions a user account has, plus more. Admin accounts have the ability to close others accounts, to view accounts IP addresses, they also have the ability to upgrade others accounts so they can advertise more things (with the number of advertising slots: 0, 3, 10, 20, 50, 100, Unlimited), they also have the ability to make an ad premium by clicking on an advertisement and then pressing a checkbox. Premium ads bump themselves to the top of a page, they also are highlighted a different colour to normal ads and contain a tag at the top of the advertisement that say's 'premium'. There is a maximum of 3 at the top of each page, if there is more than 3 premium ads they are bumped onto the top of the next page of results. If possible, there could be a priority with the premium ad button with higher priority ads being less likely to be bumped into the next page. There will also be 2 extra pages, a news page that acts like a blog and a contact us page that simply displays an email address that people can send complaints to, these pages will be accessible at the bottom of every page where a sitemap is displayed, also with links to the website. The news page needs to be able to be posted on by the admin accounts. A third extra page could be made (for expansion) but needs to remain hidden for the time being.
