Custom Slider area for existing wordpress theme

I am using a Wordpress theme Flexishop 2 for Woocommerce. It came with functionality that gets me almost to the way I want it. Except for the Slider area. The first sample screen shot is existing slider (sailboat). I would like the slider area to be like the second screen shot. as well with a functional slider like the one displayed in this premium theme [url removed, login to view] This slider can stage left or right or be full. Also the second screen shot banner area is red. I would like to have control over the color. In addition unless slider is activated in page no slider area shows like screen shot three. Also, I have created child theme of existing theme of which is active in Wordpress. Would be nice if what I am trying to achieve can be done by adding custom CSS without changing origional theme?.
