I have an existing small Nginx configuration sitting as a front-end to several HTTP services on the same machine. This is already working, and should remain as is.
In addition, I need the same Nginx configuration to act as front-end proxy to an API offered as an HTTPS service running on a different host.
The problem I'm trying to solve is that the existing HTTPS service does not offer CORS support, so is essentially unusable from browser-based JavaScript code.
The task I'd like you to do is to modify the attached Nginx config file so, it also redirects all requests to https://<my-host>/rosette-api/... (or anything below that) to the corresponding URLs at [login to view URL]
I have attached two files: the current Nginx config, and a toy JavaScript file you can modify to create an in-browser test I can use to verify your work.
I hope you have done this before and will find this straightforward. But, if not, I found the following recipe which may help [login to view URL]
Details:
You should proxy HTTPS GET and POST requests, and respond directly to CORS OPTIONS requests.
Load balancing and efficiency are not important at this time. This site will be used for internal demo purposes, and needs to handle only very small numbers of connections.
Real certificate security is not important at this time. If certificates are needed to make this work, you can use whatever is the simplest and cheapest solution for me.
I am very much familiar with this kind of setup,it needs to be done by configuring reverse proxy on nginx, please provide me the chance & i will prove rightaway.
Thanks in advance
