I need a add-on written for our Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 users that will force a brief, 3-second delay between when a user presses “Send” on an outgoing email and when they are actually allowed to send it. This add-on should be packaged in such a way that can be easily distributed to all of my Outlook users (a simple [login to view URL] is preferred).
Specifics:
1) The add-on needs to intercept send requests and present the sender with a dialogue box as described:
Title: Send Confirmation
Text 1: You are sending this message to the following X recipients.
Text 2: Please check addressees, cc's and bcc's for accuracy.
(space)
List of Recipients
(space)
Text 3: Is this correct and OK to send?
(space)
Buttons: YES NO
2) The "X" in Text 1 should be a count of the number of recipients.
3) The "List of Recipients" should place one recipient per line.
4) The "YES" button should not be available (i.e., "greyed out") until the dialogue box has been visible for 3 seconds. A visible countdown timer is preferred.
5) Upon pressing "YES", the message should get sent.
6) Upon pressing "NO", the message should reappear for further editing.
Notes:
a) This should be an actual add-on for Outlook 2003/2007 rather than a macro.
b) It must "play nice" with Word 2003/2007 when Word is one's email editor.
