We need a Danish translator in an ongoing basis. We only will consider native Danish for this job.
We usually pay $0.02 per word but this job is a bit more difficult so we pay even for the text that does not need to be translated. Here are some instructions:
For this project your required to translate the [login to view URL] file from English to Danish.
The [login to view URL] file contains all the words that appear on the screen in a navigation/work order management application. This is a little technical, but I have every confidence that you can do it. We'll need you to replace the strings in the XML with the target language equivalent. As an example:
<Phrase Id="wf_logged_in">Logged in</Phrase>
when translated for French will change to:
<Phrase Id="wf_logged_in">Connecté</Phrase>
Consistent capitalization is critical.
I would encourage you to use a text editor that formats xml well. I prefer notepad2 ([login to view URL]). Opening the [login to view URL] file in that application will highlight the xml elements in colours other than black, then all the text that needs translating in black.
There are a few elements where you will find a <GetString> type tag, in those cases you can ignore anything in that tag, but still translate the highlighted text.
<Phrase Id ="wf_no_city_found_for">
No Cities Found For '<GetString From="this" NoSuffixSpace="true" />'
</Phrase>
I've attached some notes that may be useful to you on the [login to view URL] file.
The deadline for this project is Friday 5pm GMT
Since the deadline is a bit tight, we will give priority to those bidding first.
See the attached document, which needs to be translated.
Thanks,
Hugo Reyes
Hey, I'm a native dane, who should be able to do this job.
Because of my studies, I'm used to express myself in english, and also used to translate from english.
I'm willing to do a small test, upon request.
