CentOS and CPanel Expert needed

We have a dedicated server running CentOS and CPanel. We are having problems withh a clients email accounts in that even though we have changed the necessary DNS records (or we believe we have!) the email is not coming from the Cpanel details - it would appear that the mail might be conflicting with the sites original hosting (shared hosting).
We need someone to initially work on this for us to make sure that the email "works" from the dedicated server. The chosen provider will then be our preferred system admin for all relevant work.
Budget is low ($30 max) as we are simply trying to fix whatever is wrong - otherwise we will go back to the hosting admins who will benefit (not our preferred option!)
