Convert My Windows Python Software to Run on Linux

Hi, I have more than 14 year experience with Linux (C and C++ programming) and about 10 years experience with Python, mostly on Linux (and different UNIXes). I write a lot of networking code using Twisted and many utilities combining output of UNIX commands. So can you outline functionality of your software.

As long as your current program does not make heavy use of windows-specific packages, such as pywin32, I can ensure successful migration within a few days. The description is not enough for commiting a price or time. You have asked for the differences in linux and windows platforms, but, python being platform independent, the same scripts can run in different environment provided the required packages are installed. There might be certain differences if you are using some modules which require compiling, then those modules need to be checked.
