We have had issues with our server regarding reverse DNS and email setup. We get errors when we check our domains on MXtoolbox - the main error we get is an SMTP banner mismatch "SMTP Reverse DNS Mismatch Warning - Reverse DNS does not match SMTP Banner" We have reverse dns setup, however i believe the issue we now have is that qmail sends all mail from the server ip - not the domains IP We need Qmail patching so we can specify a different ip address/host name for each domain we are rubbing on the server. There are various patches on line for this, I just dont know how to apply them! [login to view URL]

Hi There I just did something like this a couple of days ago, you are going to have some issues with this as its not as straight forward as just applying a patch, in the end I had to use a combination of SPF/DKIM and IPTables to get it working right - its not impossible, but its tricky. I am happy to do this and also to provide ongoing support should you need it - I am a very experienced web server manager and I am happy to help you. John
