artistic logo for website

See the image for reference. I can't draw but I made a rough draft of what direction I want to go for. I want this to be the logo and header of my upcoming website: leechblog.com. I want this logo to have a colorful artistic style: 1. The text will be simple 3D with different shades of white, but I don't know what texture to give it. I'll leave that up to you to decide what looks best. 2. Leeches will be coming towards the letter 'L', so the L must be significant from the other as though the letter is rich and juicy for the leeches to have a reason to follow. I'm not too sure if I wanted the leeches to have various colors. I'll let you decide. 3. The splat effect on the background will have various colors gushing out from the squashed leeches. The squashed effect will look similar to a paint board that have too much acrylic paint overflowing the corners of the paint board with various colors. Here's an example of the splat effect but this should have various colors in different directions. [login to view URL] 4. I wanted the background texture to be a canvas board. The canvas board texture will fade the farther the splat goes. The splat will stay on the canvas board and will not pass the top left corner. The colors will be overflowing down the corners. 5. If it is possible, I would like to have a gif animation of the leeches' tail wiggling. To summarize the the action that I want to portray: There are a batch of leeches in one area; the logo drops on top of the leeches giving it a colorful splat effect; the splat flows down past the header and into the body of the page; the splat overflows off the left corner of the canvas. Remember, the approach must be artistic, like manga art style with a little bit of realism. Try not to make it look too real and disgusting. Think as though you drop a heavy object on a board full of opened acrylic tubes and the colors splat out onto the canvas. The leeches are acrylic paint tubes.
