Custom work on an abandonded PHPBB mod

I am looking for someone who is familiar with PHP and the PHPBB forums software.

I run a PHPBB forum ([url removed, login to view]) that uses an abandoned 3.x modification called DiceMod ([url removed, login to view]). The modification works great in my environment and there are no problems with it. I'm looking for someone to make two enhancements to the code.

The current mod allows you to use a [dice] bbcode tag to roll dice. For example,[dice]1d20+5[/dice], will randomly chose a number between 1 and 20 and add 5 to it and display the result once the post has been submitted.

I'm looking to add three things to the existing code:

1) I would like to be able to give my rolls a title or type". Currently entering in [dice]1d20+5[/dice] produces:

Cory rolled 1d20+5 = [17] (+5) => [22]

The proposed format would be [dice="Roll Title"]1d20+5[/dice] and would produce:

Roll Title: 1d20+5 = [17] (+5) => [22]

2) The rolls current accept an optional addition/subtraction value as in (1d20+5) or they accept without the optional value (1d20). When the results are displayed without an optional math figure (the +5 from above) it displays with just () and no value.

For example,

[dice]1d20[/dice]

produces

Cory rolled 1d20 = [17] () => [17]

I'd like it to detect if an optional value is not specified and if so, put a default of +0 on it. So using the example from above [dice="Roll Title"]1d20[/dice] and would produce:

Roll Title: 1d20+0 = [17] (+0) => [17]

and [dice=]1d20[/dice] and would produce:

Cory rolled 1d20+0 = [17] (+0) => [17]
