I'd like to get some estimates on a web dev project. The project is to create a site where users can create accounts and have a customized ajax start page similar to netvibes, iGoogle, or schmedley. Each users start page would include the following: Front End: - Videos (user uploaded) - Images (user uploaded) - Micro-blog (like twitter or jaiku) - Search Box (Google search) - Favorite links Back End: Image and Video uploading Micro-blogging posting/editing Favorite Link Editing Page style control User Profile Designated area for video advertisements Search Box (to search user profiles) The end result would allow users to make "cute" customized start pages. Each user's URL would be formatted like: [url removed, login to view] There would also be an admin section where an admin could control all aspects of the site from deleting accounts to making minor style changes with in user accounts. Obviously there would be more to discuss but that's the general concept. I'm not sure how to price this project.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
This is a web based program that should run in IE, Firefox, and Safari.
