I would like the ability to post to a blog using a web page that uses AJAX. The posting would occur using xmlrpc and th MoveableType API. Essentially I would login with my username/password and supply the end point of my xmlrpc server and we'd get a returned list of available blogs. I choose a blog and if there are categories they will be listed (and eventually selectable. I would need a WYSIWYG editor for my post which includes hyperlinking, bold, italic (etc.) and insertion of images. The trick is, I'd like it as close to a desktop client as possible but accessible via the web. UPDATE: My initial request may have been ambiguous. To clarify: The blog tool already exists -- I'll be connecting to a MoveableType installation. What I need is a web-based interface to posting/editing using their xmlrpc interface. Docs on the MT API can be found here: [url removed, login to view] The idea is to have a single HTML page which uses Javascript to make xmlrpc calls to the existing API. AJX-ish in the sense that the user never has the full page redrawn but rather, has the page act almost like a desktop blogging client.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
