Device Management System

We are building a new automatic identification system that will read the following: 1. Bar Codes 2. RFID 3. Biometric devices (future) 4. Keypads, usernames, passwords This system must be highly secure. The Device Management System will: 1. Control Login to a more substantial software application. 2. Generate read events 3. Aggregate multiple devices into one "Read Point" SDK's for devices exist. The application will be written in ASP.NET and C#. This application must be completed no later than August 29. Developer of this application must be willing to work with other ASP.NET and C# programmers to build several applications that will use this read point management system. Programmers will be given access to required readers on our network via logmein. The initial project requires the following readers: 1. Feig Electronic RFID (.NET SDK and sample code exist) 2. Alien Technology RFID (.NET SDK and sample code exist) 3. Bar Code Reader (Generic) 4. Keyboard Future projects will incorporate more RFID readers and biometric devices. A more detailed specification will be provided to qualified programmers. A fully normalized database for all necessary tables exists, though it might be required to add a few fields. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows Server 2000, 2003 Linux
