Complex and Big (124megs) Excel Sheet. Need options

I have an extremely large and complicated Excel workbook. On one page there are hundreds of thousands of calculations. And there are around 30 pages. The file is 124 megs and when it recalculates the pages, it is very difficult for some computers. There are 2 main variables, and then a hundred or so minor variables. Each minor variable can be set for all main variables, or individually for each variable. I would like some ideas (and execution of those ideas) on how to get the calculations, but without killing the computer. I am open to suggestions even if it means leaving excel and building something else.
