It has finally dawned on me that 'very few' of the countless women (just like my own partner) who have taken on the business of 'home-made bead jewelry' actually have any specific form of inventory / pricing control software. In fact, my partner doesn't even know who owes her money any more!
Four years ago, the Bejeweled Software Company developed a software program known as "Jewelry Design Manager". It enabled the end-user to: 'keep track of parts and vendors; calculate costs and pricing; create bills of material, print invoices, price-lists, catalogs (with images) and more.
My research suggests that 'thousands of women' are in dire need of a downloadable, affordable, user-friendly, savvy looking, "book-keeping + inventory management + pricing control" software package to assist in their beading business management.
Basically, I am suggesting that the Jewelry Designer Manager software could be used as a model and then "re-packaged" to specifically cater for Beading enthusiasts. It needs to look "sexy" and have maximum female appeal (both in looks, functionality and ease of use).
An additional function enabling the storage of email addresses would be helpful.
To assist you in gaining a feel for 'beading', I have listed a series of beading web sites below for your perusal:

PS: Typically, beading hobbyists sell their bead jewelry on auction sites such as Ebay, Trade Me etc; but many of them also sell to friends, family and business colleagues as well as via their own e-commerce or content web sites.
