ok we have a website where we use jdownloads - download plugin to give free downloads to all registered members, [joomla version 1.5] [we also use latest Jom social] we used Jdownloads and AlphaPoints - when user registers they get 20 point each new day - each download required 5 points, This means that 20 points / 5 per download = 4 downloads Per day - This will change from 4 downloads per day to 2 downloads - as this new system is being built. - if user registers as a free member they only get 2 downloads a day on their Free Account (in aplhauser plug user receives 10 points) - NO access to Gold ViP HIP-HOP Drum Kit Samples (worth $400) - if the user registers a Silver Premium member - $9.99 (paypal) - monthly subscription - user will get 20 any downloads per day thats 20 * 5 = 100 points Per day when they Log in - Limited access to Silver ViP HIP-HOP Drum Kit Samples (Drum Kits worth $100) if the user register's as VIP Premium Membership (was $49.99) now $29.99 (monthly Subscription - user will get 50 any downloads per day + access to Gold ViP HIP-HOP Drum Kit Samples (Drum Kits worth $400) so what you will need to do is make 2 categories in J-downloads which will only be seen and downloaded with premium membership (silver or Gold) both should be separate categories Also we want to keep JomSocial but add this new membership system to jomsocial - and make the Paypal monthly subscriptions running - we should also let the user know that its monthly subscription and that they can cancel it anytime with no extra fees.
