This project is to build a website for a othopaetics association in Australia, preferrably using joomla social to complete the task.
The website is aiming to build a social platform for
(1) member-to-member, member-to-ordinary user (patient), member-to-other doctors, user-to-user (patient-to-patient) to communicate and share experience (ideas);
(2) enabling the users to find useful resources such as articles, photos,videos;
(3) enabling the members to set up their own profiles, which is similar to Linkedin;
(4) allowing English-Chinese interface in the whole website and the content as well
(5) allowing the users to invite their friends to the site via facebook, twitter, linkedin
The key tool bar includes
Home ( wellcome page with image slide show, highlightings of New Events, Hot list of Forum, Hot list of Blog, Most popular list for Resources, Content list of Journal)
Member's Profile (personalizable for users with privacy settings, images in homeprofile page,google map for users' clinic)
Events (New Events - events in Association / national / international , seminar / training / conference, event callender for users to browser, add notes, participates add comments )
Forum (read, discuss,add posts and comments,quote
Blog (users can start their own blogs,add images, follow others' blogs, leave comments, delete, edit,post, tag blogs)
Recources ( Articles / photos / videos - Flicker / Youtube )
Journal of Othopedics ( Journal subscription, Online Article ontribution, Contact editor )
Classified AD (herbal medicine related, acupuncture related, massage related, instrument, books/videos, gift vouchers)
Also 'Member registration, log in/ log out', "practitioner search", "useful links", "poll"
Logo is available, need enhenced for website use; domain name is registered and paid for parking.
Ideally, this website will require minimum management and most content rely on the users to feed, which attact more and more users to contribute; SEO is important for attacting the website traffic, especially the patients who need medical assistence.
We need a easily managable administrator site control panel for multiple managers to access to post site news, newsletters, notifications, manage new registrations, new events, add new resources; also need a detailed profile statistics, with terminate membership options.
We need your help to create a tidy, attacting professional website.
