The current program is done in VB6 and SQL Server 2000 The import, ETL, and export processes are achieved using DTS in SQL Server 2000 We require the new program to be done in VB.NET and SQL Server 2005 The same look and feel of the program to be maintained in the new program There are some gaps that need to be fulfilled in the new program, namely If staging has multiple source files, there is no definition of views. Currently, we are creating the view manually in SQL Server, then the view is shown in the ETL designer. We would like to have a view designer. Saving of definition ??" to save all definitions to a XML file Loading of definition ??" to load definitions from XML file to database Execution ??" We would like to use [url removed, login to view] to execute the batch processes. This means definition, location of source files, and execution are local to the database server. Execution ??" Transaction logs to save out. Cosmetic ??" the menu we would like to have icons next to the menu item description
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
