CUSTOM server script to convert xls file to magento upload ready file.

Take my customer xls file and import it into the magento database via a custom written server script program. It will do this once an hour based on a file that exists in the specified folder. Each time the file is queried it will analyze if a customer exists or not. If the customer does not exist, it will then create an account for the client in Magento. Then it will add generate a username and password and email that to the client along with the standard autoresponder welcome email. Take my inventory xls file and import it into the Magento database via a custom written server script program. It will do this once an hour based on a file that exists in the specified folder. If an item exists, it will not add the item to the database but only update specific fields : quantity, class, price. If an item does NOT exist it will add it with full description and all other available fields that need to be imported to successfully add it to the website. All relevant fields required will be explained but keep in mind that over 50% of the fields in each file will not be needed into the final import. (customer file needs only grab their general contact information as well as their "tier" of client and their login information for the website they want). (inventory file will have only about 30% of those fields needed) Attached are the 2 xls files that need to be converted.
