Create simple Mobile site

I have an existing website driven by mysql database. Site has exceptionally simple layout, which can simply be (more or less) copied. At present the full site is in a table format, three columns. Middle column has content, two outside columns have navigation links along wiht google ads. perfectly happy to change this if it makes the mobile site easier (for you) and neater (quicker to load). Need a mobile version of this site which also needs to be able to host my google adsense ads. Need certain amount of advice - do I need to buy a new domain, do I need a specialist host, can it be a sub domain on my existing site?
