Design front end for a web site. Tight Deadline.

I have developed a web site that pulls the data out of my database and allows the data to be browsed and viewed I need some help to have the UI polished made slick as, well as the site optimized. I would like it done very clean, so it can be SEO optimized. All the current php/mysql programming as well as the database work has been done by myself so far. You will likely need to improve my existing php/mysql which is somewhat extensive. This website needs to be Presented on Friday morning. Please read the requirements for more details. I like nice user interfaces such as [login to view URL] We will likely make some changes to the layout and design as the site is developed. My php code isn't the best, but it seems to work. I have phpmyadmin installed, and that will be available to assist in the site programming. More error checking will likely need to be added. An error page will be necessary as well. The site must be setup in a way that mod_rewrite can be used extensively. Just a few additional requirements include that you will need to setup a date picker, an ajax type method to "tag" the photos. The existing comments script template and css will need to be edited to fit into the new design.
