I have a few hundred files of invoices from customers each day. These are invoices and receipts from their online purchases. Right now I have to print them and write part of the file name at the top of each page. I get them in a number of formats, but 99% of the time they are in the following formats:
.doc
.docx
.htm
.html
.tiff
.jpeg
.pdf
.txt
Each of the files have a file name like the following:
etc....
I am looking for a program that will take each file and:
1. re-size it to fit on an 8.5x11 page (landscape mode is ok, if that fits better), allowing .5 inch at the top of the page for a header
2. Fit the MIA000001234567 number in the center of the page in the header. The whole file name would be fine, but just the number would be better
I have been looking at applications and the nearest thing I could find was Acrobat's "merge files into one PDF" function. It did seem to put the file name (although with the whole root info which I don;t need) at the bottom of the page for .htm and .txt files, but I could not force it to do so for all the other file types.
I don;t have a problem if the program first converts everything to a PDF, or some other file that i can then send to print.
I have attached a set of files as sample.
