Create a Text Link Tracker in PHP / MySQL

This is an application to monitor the status of web links to our websites that will alert us of any changes to the status of these on a daily basis, and keep track of where these links were acquired and payment for the links. This application should be written in PHP using a MySQL database, it will be accessible online by multiple users.

This application should be written in PHP using a MySQL database, it will be accessible online by multiple users.

It needs a user management system so that multiple users can use it to monitor multiple sites with a secure username/password login system. Each link should be attributed to a particular site, when you login you should see a list of sites and be able to create a new site, delete an old site or edit a current site. The user email address should be stored and used to send any reports to.

When you input a link you should be able to specify if it is Paid, Free or Reciprocal.

Paid links need to be able to enter link source(text field), email contact address(text field), date of purchase(calendar selection with today as default), page being linked to(text), link url(text), anchor text(text), niche(text), country(text), Pagerank(number), alexa rating(number), currency(selectable from dropdown ??" euro, dollar, gbp),cost(number), payment duration(should be selectable from: period of days (requires number), Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Biannually, Annually), Payment method(selectable from dropdown that we can populate with text), subscription number(text field),?

Free links need to be able to enter date of purchase(calendar selection with today as default), page being linked to(text), link url(text), anchor text(text), niche(text), country(text), Pagerank(number), alexa rating(number),

Reciprocal need to be able to enter date of purchase(calendar selection with today as default), page being linked to(text), link url(text), anchor text(text), niche(text), country(text), Pagerank(number), alexa rating(number),

The application should run daily via cron to update the pagerank of every link in the database and to check the link is still on the site with the correct anchor text. Any changes to pagerank, anchor text or if the link cannot be found should be noted in a daily summary report that is sent via email and viewable online.

You should be able to view a graph of a link’s pagerank history if you click a link on the browsing page that shows the details of all links for a site. These should be paginated with a user selectable dropdown value from 20, 50, 100, 250.

Link details should be able to be exported to a CSV file.

You should be able to view individual browsing pages according to whether the links are paid, free or reciprocal. You should be able to search/filter the links based on their details such as cost, pagerank, site url, etc.

You should be able to set an option to show a ratio of pagerank to cost, based on user configured Pagerank weightings, and without weightings to compare sites of the same pagerank.

All site links on the browsing pages should be clickable to open the page in a new window.

You should be able to manually run the daily update via a button so you can get an email report straight away.

There should be an area to enter current exchange rates for the currencies in use with GBP as base currency, or this could be pulled from a live online feed so that the pagerank to cost ratio can be worked out equally across all currencies.

We have created a database design for this project so you should not have to do this yourself simply implement it in MySQL. You can change this if you wish but it should act as a good guideline for what we want from this project and ensure you have a good understanding of it. We will make this available to good bid requests if you ask for it!
