18 year software engineering veteran here. Spent almost my entire career in finance service industry building customer facing web applications. Should you accept my bid you will not just be getting a web page coder but a developer with an enterprise software background. I know what it takes to build real e-commerce systems that are designed to be reliable and generate revenue. I would however like some time to talk and possibly revisit your bid range. When you ask for an ebay type site you are asking to replicate the functionality of a company with around a 70 billion dollar market capitalization. While I understand you have budget constraints as a result of coming here I think you need to consider what really might be involved in building something of that caliber and whether or not 6K is really a reasonable offer for something like that. Also, as I work in the InfoSec specialization I am curious what you mean by "safe transaction." E-bay already pretty much as a refund under any circumstances type approach unless you mean something specific to security like bitcoin or something.
