Build A Web Based Sales System + Graphic Design

Computerised online system for selling items with a serial number.

Synopsis:

We need a system which can

1) Book new items of stock in when stock arrives from a supplier

2) Have secure accounts for different retailers (with their own sales database)

3) Sell items when they are sold via a till

4) When items are sold we need to record customers details, including ID types (see below)

5) Be styled for tablet, desktops and phones

6) Use a centralised product database shared by all retailers. (with an options not to share a particular product with other users (Boolean field)) – for special offers etc (We do not share cost prices or retail prices, just a drop down with – ‘product name’ + ‘calibre’ fields

7) Run reports of all sales in a period, Print all items in stock

8) Have a username and password able to login

9) Limit access to accounts with non payment

10) Further updates will need completing after the project is handed over we can agree a rate for these.

11) A Printable form to be created with the option of emailing it or printing it.

Details for a product:

Product Name

Calibre

Cost price

Selling price

Date arrived (auto fill on entry)

Quantity arrived

Serial number (different for each item (so if quantity is 2, entry for 2 serial numbers)

Details for a new sale:

Staff Member (drop down) We will need to edit these per store via a 'settings' page

Customer Name

Customer DOB

Customer Address fields

Customer Contact number

Date of sale

ID Type

Correct ID fields for (driving license, passport including a utility bill, other)

Other fields (type, id numbers – free text box)

+ a drop down of all items in stock at the moment and a search box by item name or serial number.

Technical

Each store will have an account which will need to be paid for, this will have to be linked to a paypal payment which is taken monthly.

Each account will need to be secure and no details from retailers accounts must be accessible from another account – separate databases.

Graphic Design

A black theme with a logo will need to be designed; it will be minimal and easy to navigate. Logos can be designed once the brand name is given to you.
