company website overhaul

I need a coder to overhaul our company website ([login to view URL]) mainly interms of coding to allow updating and editing of the contents. As it is now, some of the pages are broken and the contents that need to be updated, i.e., the current and past project pages are pulled from a database and are quite inflexible in terms of presentation. Also, the title and and opening pages, if possible, need to be updated with new pictures from time to time. As it is, they're in flash and quite impossible to edit. Our company has a very small IT staff , mainly involved with in-house backoffice system, so all of this needs to be easy to work with, maybe even by administrative staff. What I need: 1) coding to allow editing of the menu to add or delete links and pages. 2) the dynamic pages (or possibly all if it's not too difficult) need to be easily edited, even to the point of WYSIWYG, with multiple pictures and somewhat flexible layouts. 3) the title area (or banner?) and the intro page need to be updatable with new pictures. this might involve some graphic design? 4) all of this needs a password protected access, of course. 5) I want the news page to pull current news from some RSS feeds which need to be configurable. 6) anything beyond what I mentioned that you feel could benefit the site without incurring too much additional cost. This list is all what the management envisioned, but details are still somewhat flexible and open to suggestions. I will need some form of receipt for tax purposes (the amount could be adjusted so that you get your full bid price) so please keep that in mind. PS: We also have several intranet web app projects that need coders, so if we work well together .. who knows.. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. Thank you. ## Platform I believe the server to be a windows 2000 or 2003 server with support for ASP, PHP, MySQL, and Perl (I'm not sure about permissions on perl.) I need the site to work on all the major browsers with reasonable backwards compatibility for older versions (for example ie 5.5 and 6) on the public side. The maintenance side we'll use ie 6 or firefox 2 or later.
