You'll be migrating a foxpro database to sql server. which is the easy part. The hard part is making sure that every single program that was written in visual foxpro continues to work with sql server remote tables.
There are about 50 scripts (programs) that need to by modified to take advantage of the remote data storage. We'll also be upgrading from foxpro 6 to 8.
The requirements:
-no data held in foxpro
-programs (scripts) currently written in foxpro, must continue to run as if the data was locally stored on foxpro.
Let me know what you think.
