I am trying to send a ping using XML-RPC (see the code bellow). However, both when I am using real and made up proxy URLs, the post seems to go through. That makes me think that either this PEAR class silently fall backs to a non-proxy method if proxy connection is not available, or just ignores proxy directive despite the documentation. You task is to determine why is that happening and to verify that when the valid proxy used, the request is actually using it. 'weblogUpdates.', 'proxy' => $proxy ); $client = XML_RPC2_Client::create($server, $options); $result = $client->ping($site_name, $site_url); print_r($result); ?>
## Deliverables
