DNS+website+mail status checker

I need a custom PHP script that I can run in my server that performs a check of Whois and DNS records, website availability and email functionality. It should be a one-stop check for any problems related to the domain. Specifically, I want to enter a hostname and check for these: DNS checks: 1. Get a Whois record and authoritative NS for the domain 2. Check if NS are alive and have a SOA 3. Check that all NS have the same version of the zone 4. Check if the NS entries of the DNS record are the same as the DNS specified in the Whois Website check: 1. Check the A records and try to reach the website at the www hostname or if there's no www record, at the domain name. 2. Return headers from server 3. Return an extract of the text contained in the page, stripped of all HTML tags Email check: 1. Display mailserver information 2. Attempt to deliver a test message to some default addresses and display the HELO, MAIL FROM and RCPT dialog. It's very similar to what the free utility CheckDNS does, with a few tweaks to get extra information. [login to view URL] This will be for my personal use only, not for public access. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform I need this to run in a standard PHP installation in a cPanel server.
