I am the owner of [[login to view URL]][1]- a Digg-clone dedicated to news for dads. The site runs off of the open-source Meneame software (PHP/MySQL) that can be downloaded from meneame.wikispaces.com. Currently, the site is running the default design that is based on an external CSS2.1 stylesheet.
I need a designer to re-design the site to give it a unique look but that is still easy to use. Something similar to Digg but with enough differences to avoid any copyright problems. Here are the key requirements for this project:
1. Designer: must have extensive graphic design experience but be an expert with CSS.
2. Design: must be 1) easy to use by inexperienced Internet audience, 2) solely CSS-based (can have the necessary IE hacks including javascript) and 3) functional on the latest versions of FireFox, Netscape, Internet Explorer, Konquer, Safari, and Opera.
3. Graphics: I will own the grphics produced and the underlying CSS stylesheet.
Any other questions, please ask.
